The main goal of this video clip is to promote a person/place/thing of your choice, preferable for something local. You will decide on a topic next class. The promotional video clip needs to hit the target market it is intended for.

  1. Surf the web to find web sites that offer suggestions on how to make a promotional video. (at least 15 minutes)
  2. In a Google Doc, (This can also be done using Edmodo, if it is easier.) list at least 5 useful web sites that you discovered and explain why you found that site to be useful.
  3. In the same Google Doc, (This can also be done using Edmodo, if it is easier.) explain how you will use what you learned today to create a promotional movie for this class.

This is your final exam. Here is what you need to accomplish today:

  1. Decide on a local business that you would like to create promotional materials for or you can choose to promote the Bellevue Community School District.
  2. Begin to create a promotional poster for this organinzation. Here is what you need to think about before you begin:
    1. How do you create a promotional poster that attracts your target audience?
    2. What aspects are needed to make a promotional poster customer-friendly?
    3. What colors should be used to grab readers’ attention?
    4. Why is this poster so important?
    5. Who is your target market?
    6. What aspects of your poster will lead your customer to buy your product or visit your business/school?
