GOAL: When you leave class today you will be able to:

  1. Explain what a checking account is used for 
  2. Understand the variety of ways they can deposit and withdraw funds from their checking account 
  3. Describe the consequences of not being in the banking system 
  4. Read a bank statement
  5. Understand what the various components of a bank statement mean to interpret where their money goes
